Nikita obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh in Economics and Politics in 2012. In a perhaps futile attempt to escape unpredictable Scottish weather, she made her way to Switzerland, where she now studies for a Master in Economics at the University of St. Gallen, and is the President, Co-Founder and Co-Editor in Chief of The Dufour Street Journal, a student-run publication at the University of St. Gallen focused on economics, research, and current affairs. Before beginning her postgraduate studies, she worked with the team behind the Dow Jones Sustainability Index at RobecoSAM, and has various other experiences in the financial industry under her belt. Her research interests include applied econometrics, political economy and development economics, monetary policy design - and where to find the absolute best chocolate.
